Purchased this 2nd generation TFT display to replace the original 1st generation TFT unit that came on my blade gt+.The original TFT was problematic,and from day one the battery meter never gave accurate battery percentage readings relative to the actual voltage indicated on the display.
Based on the running/operating voltage,the battery level should have been much higher and I confirmed this fact using the 60V Lithium-ion battery chart which shows battery voltage for a given battery %level.The battery meter always displayed a percentage level lower than what it should have been.For example when the volt and battery meters on my TFT showed 61.1V at 48% the actual values should have been 61.1V at 68% based on the official chart.Also,when the battery was fully charged to 67.2V the battery indicator on my TFT always peaked at 97% instead of %100 according to the chart.It was explained to me that the volt and battery meters were out of sync and needed a firmware update but TEVERUN was yet to make an app available to its customers for this specific purpose. With no time frame given for the release of this app to perform the firmware update,I decided to purchase the 2nd generation TFT and I am happy to announce PROBLEM SOLVED.Both volt and battery indicators are now in sync and voltage and battery percentage values are now accurate and consistent with the chart.
Anyone facing similar issues,I recommend installing the 2nd generation TFT display to remedy this problem.
