I didn't understand why some people had installed these seemingly obnoxiously long dampeners until I installed this one. I do like that is more compact but once installed I found it limited the wheel turning radius. Granted it is really not an issue until you try pushing your scooter around to angle it or reverse direction. It may take a few tries to get it turned as desired. It does help to eliminate the high-speed wobbles and gives it a bit more solid feel. The bracket that mounts to the footplate seems a bit much really. It is heavy and makes access to the left-charge plug a bit more fidgety. All-in-all it does what I wanted and looks nice.

Riding on my VSETT 10+ using the Carbon Fiber Steering Damper Kit for VSETT from Rydology has been with much more confidence than without it. Not only need there be concern for wobbling at greater speeds but, also be weary of wobbling at lower speeds while turning when not using a steering damper. Thanks to Rydology for their recommendations and service. The steering damper was easy to assemble and every part fits and works as it is supposed to.
