Teverun Gear and Mode Button
I recently changed out the combo finger throttle/mode button that came stock on my new Blade G2+. It felt uncomfortable splitting my hand to cover both the throttle and brake. So I replaced that with this dedicated mode button and the upgraded Teverun thumb throttle. I love the thumb throttle that compliments this. As for this button control, I like the looks and it seems to be made well. I also much prefer the layout--when navigating the Teverun menu and gears, the layout of the old control was non-intuitive at times (depending on what you are doing). This up/down paddle switch with dedicated center Mode button and lower power button is a better overall layout and makes a lot of sense. The only thing I don't like about it is the up/down buttons are way too sensitive. You barely touch them and it clicks. When driving with gloves, I find myself accidentally brushing up against it sometimes and clicking it into another gear without realizing it. I think they should have made the buttons more stiff, so it doesn't get pushed so easily. Otherwise it is a nice unit and still worth it to get rid of that original combo button/trigger. [Install note: when replacing the combo control, there are 2 wire harnesses. One of those (the green one) gets plugged in to this; the other (yellow) will plug into the new thumb throttle.]
